Roberto Rivadeneira (b. 1991, Quito, Ecuador)

My work explores the relationship between perception, time, and abstraction, often through the use of emerging technologies, painting and installation. At the core of my practice is a curiosity about the space between what we see, remember, and imagine.

I use custom AI models, 3D scanning, and digital rendering to build abstract environments that question how we understand space and reality. These works act as speculative archives; visual experiments that reflect on memory, distortion, and transformation.

Lately, my research has been guided by astrophysical ideas, especially around entropy, time dilation, and the block universe theory. I don't try to illustrate science, but rather use these concepts as tools to reorganize meaning and perception.

I am also the founder of DOBLE ERRE, a hybrid space in Madrid that works as an art studio, exhibition space, and platform for collaborative research. This project reflects my wider interest in how art, architecture, and technology connect.

Across all media, I work with a mix of structure and intuition. Abstraction is not a way to escape reality, but a way to confront and rethink it. My practice moves between digital and physical formats, aiming to build a new language of form, space, and experience.
